Comleroy Road

| There was a straight, three furlong (600 m) long racetrack on Vin McMahon's property on Comleroy Road. (See map) Regular races were run by the guest houses of the district and some guests returned year after year for the events.
Hundreds of people attended to watch the races, placing informal bets and enjoying the picnics held afterwards. Vince McMahon recalls that there were good quality horses locally that were entered in the races. |
